Tarantino Couldn’t Have Scripted This Story Better

Check out this epic business world story. As Pandodaily said: “It’s a real life  Tarantino film. It couldn’t be scripted better.”

Here’s the abridged version of this bad ass story:

2 corporate rivals, Larry Ellison of Oracle & Dave Duffeild of PeopleSoft squared off in the enterprise software business battlefield up until 2004.

Ellison’s Oracle the bought out Duffeild’s baby in the first ever hostile takeover of a software company.

The story of Oracle & Ellison’s rise to power was noted in a biography (aptly called ‘Softwar‘).

After running Duffeild out of town, David, plotted a slow revenge, using the money he earned from Oracle buying him out.

And now his new baby, Workday is eyeing a late 2012 IPO.

How’s that for a comeback?
